Application of Turbocharger in Automobile Field
Turbochargers are widely used in the automotive field. It can increase the power and torque of the engine, making the car have better acceleration and driving experience. For example, some luxury models and sports cars are equipped with turbochargers, such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and other brands. In addition, turbochargers can also improve fuel economy, reduce exhaust emissions, and meet environmental protection requirements.
The working principle of the turbocharger is to increase the intake air volume by compressing the air, thereby increasing the output power and torque of the engine. A turbocharger usually consists of two parts: a turbine and a compressor. When the engine burns, the exhaust airflow turns the turbine, which in turn drives the coaxial impeller, which pressurizes the air coming from the air filter duct, boosting it into the cylinder.
