Do you know how turbocharging works?
1. The exhaust gas from the engine pushes the turbine impeller at the exhaust end of the turbine and makes it rotate. As a result, the compressor impeller on the other side connected to it can be driven to rotate at the same time.
2.The compressor impeller forcefully sucks air in from the air inlet, and after being compressed by the rotation of the blades, it enters the compression channel with smaller and smaller diameter for secondary compression, and the compressed air is injected into the cylinder for combustion.
3.Some engines are equipped with intercoolers to reduce the temperature of the compressed air, increase the density, and prevent the engine from knocking.
4.The compressed (and cooled) air enters the cylinder through the intake pipe and participates in combustion to do work.
Fifth, the exhaust gas after combustion is discharged from the exhaust pipe, enters the turbine, and repeats the above (1) action. This is how turbocharging works.
